Work like a Horse, or in Dutch Werken als een Paard, is a Dutch foundation committed to support children who deserve a helping hand. This is done by projects for elementary school pupils in challenging neighbourhoods of Rotterdam. As recent years, two classes of awesome kids were back at TIO during two afternoons and they were fresh and cool and excited. First we learned them a little bit of noise basics by experimenting, with some help from Diederik. And then they checked out the full work processes from 2D and 3D design until the actual manufacturing of a steel silencer. Metal cutting, burning and welding, 10T crane handling, final silencer inspection and measurements; they did it all.
