The coast of Walcheren is one of the prettiest coast lines in the Netherlands. Walcheren used to be an independent island, but now it is part of Zuid-Beveland. It is a National Landscape with polders, creeks, country estates, villages and cities. Not only do the dikes of Walcheren protect the inhabitants of the area, they also tell the story of centuries of land reclamation. Some well-known vacation locations in this area are Domburg, Zoutelande, Middelburg and Vlissingen. Last week we had the honour to sail twice out of the port of Vlissingen to join two newbuilt project seatrials. Technically always very interesting, certainly with a new custom TIER III solution being commisioned. And including some great free views on the awesome coast of Walcheren. Awesome! Thanks to all participants for the great trips.
